Angry Dad Shoots Daughter's Laptop Over Facebook Rant

This Montclair Patch editor was just with a bunch of fellow moms ... and what was everyone talking about? The YouTube video made by an angry father who, when fixing his daughter’s computer, came across her long Facebook rant about family life. He's so mad about her post that he spills his own rant, which he promises to post on his daughter's Facebook wall. For his grand finale, the dad pulls out a gun and shoots his daughter's laptop to pieces.

As he says in the video: "Maybe a few kids can take something away from this… If you’re so disrespectful to your parents and yourself as to post this kind of thing on Facebook, you’re deserving of some tough love. Today, my daughter is getting a dose of tough love."

No matter what you think about the video, it has struck a nerve. Indeed, after "going viral," the video garnered more than a milllion views in less than 72 hours, not to mention a flood of commentary.

Some people express enthusiastic support for the angry dad while others express downright shock.
