Essex County Collects Electronics for Recycling

County will be collecting computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, cell phones and other electronics for recycling between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Essex County will hold its annual countywide Computer and Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

County residents should bring unwanted computers, parts or any electronics to the Essex County Fleet Maintenance Facility, located at 99 W. Bradford Ave. in Cedar Grove for recycling.

“Recycling computer hardware and electronic devices helps remove lead and other dangerous chemicals from our waste stream, which is important for us and our children,” said Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr.
