Montclair Public Library Offers Mango Language Instruction

The free program provides patrons remote access to more than 40 foreign language courses and over 15 ESL courses.

The Montclair Public Library now offers the Mango Languages online language-learning system to its patrons. Mango provides patrons remote access to more than 40 foreign language courses and over 15 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

Mango is available in two versions. One is Mango Complete, a 100-lesson course that is designed to provide a deep understanding of a language and
its culture. The second is Mango Basic, which teaches everyday greetings, goodbyes and helpful phrases in a short period of time and is designed to appeal to a beginner in a new language.

Access to Mango is made available by the American Dream Grant. Funded by Dollar General Stores in conjunction with the American Library Association and Literacy Volunteers of America, the American Dream Grant is designed to encourage literacy among our newest citizens.
