WHY GO:  “Don’t Bother to Knock”.   An airline pilot, dumped by his girlfriend, pursues a baby-sitter in his hotel and gradually realizes she's dangerous.     All film viewings are free and open to the public and held in the Library's air conditioned Community Meeting Room.  The doors open for seating at 12:30PM. Showtime is 1:00PM.  Seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis.

WHAT:  Own The Night – Middle School Lock-In

WHAT: Cedar Grove Library Exhibits Artwork of Local Artist, Frances Hall

WHEN:  The artwork will be on exhibit from May 24 through July 24
WHY GO: An art major in college, Mrs. Hall has been practicing her craft for over 40 years. Working in opaque watercolors, the exhibit will feature 13 pieces painted between 2002 and 2011.  

WHAT:   Movies Under The Stars

WHY GO:  This Friday is the movie “DOLPHIN TALE”.    Dolphin Tale is a 2011 family drama film. It stars Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd, and Morgan Freeman. The book and film are inspired by the true story of Winter, a bottlenose dolphin that was rescued in December 2005 off the Florida coast and taken in by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter lost her tail after becoming entangled with a rope attached to a crab trap and was fitted with a prosthetic one.

WHAT: Cedar Grove Community Church Thrift Shop

Two exciting planetarium shows will be offered to kids and adults.  The Planetarium will feature Zula Patrol 2 at 1:30 & 2:30 p.m. In their latest adventure, a routine fossil-hunting mission launches The Zula Patrol on a rollicking ride into Earth’s past!  (Recommended for children ages 5 to 9; 35 minutes)   At 3:30 p.m. Heart of the Sun examines the Sun up close, describes how it creates the light that warms us and makes life possible here on Earth, and is used as a source of renewable energy. WHAT:  Newark Black Film Festival - African American History Remembered “THE CONTRADICTIONS OF FAIR HOPE”
