Bring your chairs and blankets and join us for a movie on the great lawn of St. Luke’s on Friday, August 31st at sunset. We will be viewing “The Muppets” movie. Cost is free – please invite friends and family.  

Sign Up Now for the Battle Against Hunger Bike Event: Sept. 7 – 9
Join Toni’s Kitchen in the Battle Against Hunger bike event—an amazing 200-mile ride from Gettysburg, PA, to Trenton NJ, with great people in support of our neighbors in need.  Bikers meet up with other soup kitchen riders in Gettysburg on Friday evening.  Bike through rolling farmland on Saturday and spend Sunday pedaling through gorgeous Amish country, across the Susquehanna River, to a rustic path along the Delaware.  Transportation to and from provided by our great Support and Gear (SAG) cars.  To learn more, register or learn about training rides, contact us at toniskitchen@gmail.com

ST. SEBASTIAN’S ITALIAN FEAST

Brought to this country in 1926 from Cerami, Sicily, the Feast of St. Sebastian has survived and flourished in the township of Montclair, N.J. The St. Sebastian Society, host of the event is affiliated with nearby Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church. The 5 day event features a wide variety of fine Italian foods such as zeppole, sausage and pepper and cheese steak sandwiches, oven brick pizza and all the Feast favorites. Plenty of rides for the kids and adults as well as games, novelties, nightly entertainment will include the talents of local Italian favorites, Tommy Scala and award winning Sinatra idol, Eric DeLauroe. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. The big highlight is the Procession of the statue of St. Sebastian, accompanied by marching bands and the devout and the curious.
