An annual event, the theme of the window decorating event this year was an easy one to pick: The Montclair Film Festival.

As a result, young people across Montclair were out in droves over the weekend, painting store windows in all parts of town with supplies donated by the Montclair Art Museum and Saunders Hardware.

Meanwhile, just to highlight one of the many great events that will make up the Montclair Film Festival: At 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, legendary novelist and screenwriter Richard Price (Clockers, The Color Of Money, Lush Life), along with screenwriting duo Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Rounders, Oceans 13), will join in a lively discussion about the art of screenwriting at the Montclair Public Library. The event offers a free and rare opportunity to hear from some wonderful writers about film from the writer's perspective.

Montclair Patch will provide coverage of the film festival and we look forward to seeing you at some events!
