For almost two years I've been producing The Longest Shortest Time, my podcast for new parents, as audio only. Until now. Today I am pleased to launch LST's first video (also attached to this post), made possible by a grant from the Knight Foundation. The story is an adaptation of The Emperor's New Onesie, an episode about a mom whose daughter staops wearing clothes at 15 months and goes completely naked for over four weeks. The mom later figured out her daughter has a sensory processing disorder.
The video is beautifully illustrated by the talented Jen Corace and was animated by the equally talented video producer Joe Posner. Read more about the making of this project (and share your own stories of surprising struggles in early parenthood) here.
Do you have a child with a sensory processing disorder? Would love to hear from you in the comments.

Hillary, this is moving and beautifully done. One of my kids had a milder reaction to tags and certain stitching and never kept socks on. I have been irked by tags and belts myself so I figured it out but it is frustrating when the child cannot express what is bugging them. This is a very helpful video to share with new parents
