We love staging homes and every client that we have worked with has been so impressed once they’ve seen the results for themselves.
Although many of you already know what home staging is, it is only appropriate to begin this blog with a proper explanation.
Home Staging is the art of preparing and presenting a home for the real estate market. Staging focuses on decluttering, depersonalizing, revising design layouts, removing or incorporating furniture, art and accessories, decorating, designing and properly showcasing a home to highlight its best features.
By neutralizing personal taste and maximizing the appearance of each room, staging will allow your home to appeal to a wider range of potential home buyers, representing its full potential for proper real estate marketing.
Staging will improve the appearance of the home through the eyes of the buyer with the goal of selling more quickly and for the most amount of money. It is a competitive buyers market, first impressions mean everything and staging is a necessary and affordable way to give a home an edge over others. Presenting a home in its best light from the beginning will give it an advantage over non-staged homes and help lead to a profitable sale.
Presenting a "finished" space will show buyers the home is comfortable, warm, well cared for and move-in ready. These qualities will make a notable first impression, allowing someone to easily see themselves moving right in. We want potential buyers to be impressed and remember their experience in the home.
