Studio Players is presenting “James and the Giant Peach" a production fully produced by our junior members. Performances are at 1:30 and 3:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, February 16, 17, 23 and 24.
The story of Roald Dahl’s classic tale is faithfully told by James himself and the insect characters: Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybird and Earthworm. James and the Giant Peach is a great introduction for first-timers to the work of the masterful Dahl. A theatrical treat for children and adults alike.
Adapted for the stage by David Wood from the book by Roald Dahl, this production is directed by Phoebe Grace with Assistant Director Skylar Fortgang. Operating since 1937, Studio Players is a non-profit theatre company. The company puts on a variety of shows, including musicals, original plays, hit plays and the "Magic Trunk" series, a series of shows geared towards children and families. Auditions are open to the public, and those interested in helping with costumes and set design are welcome to join, too.
