DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Montclair Township Animal Shelter is hosting a
  fun\, family-friendly summer celebration to raise both awareness of\, a
 nd much needed additional funds for\, the Montclair Township Animal Shel
 ter.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Open to all\, the street party promises succulent foo
 d\, a bunch of fun activities for the kids and great\, groovy music &nda
 sh\; plus the chance to meet all the sweet\, affectionate neighborhood a
 nimals needing and deserving new homes.\nMTAS will extend its hours that
  day\, opening at noon\, and also offer discounted adoption fees during 
 the event - $70 for dogs\, $50 for cats. &nbsp\;Shelter staff will be on
 -hand to answer any questions and to help match potential adopters with 
 an animal that&rsquo\;s a perfect fit.&nbsp\;\nAdmission is free\, thoug
 h a small monetary donation will be required for food and activities. Re
 sidents are also encouraged to bring in-kind donations: items such as ca
 t litter\, pet food\, pet toys\, laundry detergent\, old newspapers\, an
 d used-but-unsoiled linens like blankets\, towels and pet beds are alway
 s appreciated. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;Local vendors on-site will donate a portion
  of their proceeds from the day.&nbsp\; All proceeds raised from the out
 door event will go towards helping the shelter&rsquo\;s animals.
