DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesdays from 10:15 to 11:15 am in the library aud
 itorium for Yang style T'ai chi ch'uan.\n T'ai chi ch'uan is an ancient 
 Chinese martial and healing art. Most obviously characterized by the slo
 w motion manner in which its choreographed movement patterns are carried
  out\, T'ai chi ch'uan is more accurately defined by its attention to co
 rrect body alignment and structural detail.\n&nbsp\;T'ai chi ch'uan prin
 ciples apply globally to walking\, martial application\, bodywork\, or a
 ny other activity for which economy of motion and efficiency of effort a
 re desired.  Each class will begin with a warm-up session designed to li
 mber up the body and promote flexibility of all connective tissue\, and 
 will include Chi Gung (Energy Arts) exercises.&nbsp\; After each class\,
  enjoy a cup of healthy and delicious tea.&nbsp\; Tea Specialist and own
 er Grace Grund will share a different variety each week and educate part
 icipants about that tea.\nThe class will be taught by Donald Madson\, ce
 rtified by the Kung Fu Academy of New Jersey.&nbsp\; Don teaches at the 
 Montclair YMCA as well.
