 ne\,&nbsp\;The Winter's Tale&nbsp\;celebrates the triumph of love\, nobi
lity\, and all things good\, and ends with a promise of rejuvenation\, r
edemption and hope.&nbsp\;\nOne of several outreach programs offered by

\nAbout the Next Stage Ensemble\nThe Next Stage Ensemble\, now in its 20
th year\, was created in 1992 as part of The Shakespeare Theatre of New
Jersey's&nbsp\;Summer Professional Training Program\, to foster the work
of early-career actors and directors. One of several exciting outreach
programs offered by the Theatre\, each summer the Next Stage Ensemble br
ings the thrill of live performance to audiences throughout New Jersey\,
while enabling young performers to gain valuable experience in classica
l theatre and ensemble work.\nMuch as an Elizabethan traveling company w
ould have done\, the troupe tours with only minimal sets and without lig
hting equipment. In traditional fashion\, actors typically perform in mu
ltiple roles. The performers rely upon the text and their craft\, rather
than on elaborate sets\, costumes and special effects\, to create theat
rical "magic."\nPhoto of the 2011 performance\, courtesy of Stan Freeny.
