Women of Color in Higher Education Conference
Montclair State to host conference for the New Jersey ACE Women’s Network on Friday, February 8th

WHAT: Montclair State University will host the New Jersey ACE (American Council on Education) Women’s Network “Women of Color Conference”. The event will explore trends in leadership, diversity issues, and the challenges facing women of color in higher education.
Keynote speakers include Sheila Y. Oliver, Speaker of the House in the New Jersey General Assembly, and Susan Shin Angulo, Councilwoman of Cherry Hill Township. Speaker Oliver is the first African-American woman to lead a legislative house in New Jersey,and only the second to do so in American history. Councilwoman Angulo is the first Korean-American woman elected to office in New Jersey.
