General Election, Holocaust Remembrance Event

What you need to know today in Montclair.

Patch has put together some things you need to know for Tuesday.

Tuesday is the 2013 General Election. Voters will go to the polls to choose between Republican Gov. Chris Christie who is seeking re-election and his Democratic challenger N.J. State Sen. Barbara Buono.

Polling places will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Don't know your polling place? Check the top of your sample ballot received in the mail or search the NJ Department of State website. If no match is found, contact the Montclair Township Clerk's office at 973-509-4900.

Krystalnacht: A Remembrance of the Holocaust: The author of "Hitler's Priest", Dr. Salavatore J. Tagliarini, will present a program honoring the memories of the holocaust victims at the Montclair Public Library Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

The Senior Citizen Bus and the Evening Shuttle will be out of service this week. The interruption to service is due to mechanical issues, according to the township.
