Turkey Ride Benefits Human Needs Food Pantry

What's happening in Montclair Friday.

Patch has put together some things you need to know for Friday. 

Calling all cyclists! A Turkey Ride is planned for Nov. 24 to benefit the Human Needs Food Pantry. The challenging 15-mile ride starts at the Bikery in Montclair. Ride to Brookdale ShopRite in Bloomfield, buy a turkey and ride it over to the food pantry on Label Street in Montclair! For more information, contact montclairbikery@gmail.com.

The Essex County Codey Arena will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 12. Free admission for ice skating and free skate rentals. The Public Session starts at 12:15 p.m. and goes to 1:45 p.m. Stay and watch a Curling Exhibition event from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m., and enjoy an evening Skating Show from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., including 2013 World Champion Figure Skating Pairs. Admission: $7 adults, $5 children.
