A Special Thanks to a Montclair Resident

My son rescued your beautiful black dog that got loose from the traffic on Mountain Ave a while back, and you rewarded him.  But what you didn't know is that we were driving on Mountain Avenue because we were coming home from Mountainside hospital where my son was released that day after a stay there because of a suicide attempt.  
He had tried to kill himself because he was feeling depressed and worthless because of the neuro problems he was born with not allowing him to follow his planned goals and dreams.  
You made him feel like a hero just when he needed it the most.   He is doing much better now, but I just wanted you to know that and to say thanks for making him feel worthy again that day.  Hope your dog is doing well too.
