Glen Ridge Is Beginning to Look A Lot Like Citrus!

The Glen Ridge Music Parents biggest fundraiser of the year kicks off this week when their annual delicious Citrus Sale begins. A long standing tradition, the Citrus Sale organizes GRHS music students to canvass the community, taking orders for delicious oranges and grapefruits from sunnier regions, just as the cold weather sets in around here. 20 lb. bags of oranges, grapefruit, or mixed oranges and grapefruit are sold for $22.00 per bag, and can be hand-delivered. Citrus orders can be placed by sending in flyers; online at www.grmpa.org; or in person on Saturday Nov. 16th when students will be going door-to-door to take orders. As a special treat this year, the GRHS Marching Band will be serenading commuters on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5-7pm at the Glen Ridge train station, distributing flyers and encouraging locals to order.
