Glen Ridge Marching Band Ends Season on a High Note

The Glen Ridge High School Marching Band topped off its 2013 season with a first place win and “Superior” rating, garnering a score of 90.0 points at the Bloomfield Fall Band Invitational competition Sunday.  

Along with its first place award, the GRHS Band earned “Best Music” and “Best Color Guard” honors in the Group B category as well.

“I am so proud of the kids for pushing themselves and ending the season with such a big win,” said Kevin Lagos, GRHS Band Director. “The scores showed them what they can accomplish when they work hard, stay focused, and give it all they’ve got.”
