Montclair Art Museum's "Luncheon, Lecture and Trunk Show" with Cameron Silver

MONTCLAIR, NJ (April 9, 2014)—It was a beautiful event Wednesday, April 9 from 11-3PM when Bravo’s fashion guru Cameron Silver helped celebrate 100 years of fashion and art with Montclair Art Museum at their “Luncheon, Lecture and Trunk Show”.

Guests were dressed to impress in pieces that showcased their favorite decade in fashion while they took advantage of the rare opportunity to shop Cameron Silver’s vintage couture line from DECADES. Silver was available to chat during his book signing alongside his chic line. After celebrating with champagne, wine and hors d’oeuvres, guests were guided downstairs where a beautiful Luncheon took place before Silver took the stage to speak on his greatest fashion influences. A truly inspirational talk, Silver led the crowd through the decades of fashion highlighting designers who moved him and shaped him into the fashion guru he is today.

Following his speech, Silver remained present and involved in the luxury raffle basket where guests won prizes from contributors such as Steve Madden and Bangz Salon and Spa. When all the winners of the luxury raffle were chosen, desert was served on silver platters upstairs with a final chance to shop Silver’s line.  All in attendance also received Swag bags with gift cards to Erno Laszlo, Sweet Home Montclair and Crown Maple Syrup.

The celebration of 100 years of art continues on April 26, 2014 when Montclair Art Museum is hosting their Centennial Ball followed by a Fashionably Late After party for the young at heart. Dress in your favorite decade for this chic soirée to celebrate art and fashion through the century with cocktails in Leir Hall at 6:30pm followed by dinner in the Grand Tent at 8:00pm on the front lawn.
