Freckleface Strawberry, aka Julianne Moore, Visits Montclair

More than 200 fans came out to hear author/actress Julianne Moore read from her latest book, My Mom Is a Foreigner, But Not to Me, at Montclair Kimberley's Academy annual Scholastic Book Fair Sunday.

Moore shared her childhood experiences of having a Scottish mother and of being nicknamed "Freckleface Strawberry," the title of her New York Times best-selling children's series.

Moore engaged her young audience, took their questions and spent time with each of the children as their books were signed.

This is the second time the Academy-Award nominated actress visited Montclair in recent months. She made a book tour stop at the Montclair Public Library in September.

The book fair at MKA is Scholastic's largest in the country.
