Kidville Montclair to Hold March of Dimes Fundraiser and Raffle

Come out on Sunday to enjoy ice cream and fun while supporting a family cause.

On Sunday Kidville Montclair will be opening up their space for families to come and play in the gym, participate in raffles and enjoy treats including a lot of ice cream! Raffle prizes include a tricycle, a free class at Kidville and other prizes donated by local stores.

It will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Kidville located at 516 Valley Road (next to A&P) in Upper Montclair. There is a suggested donation of $10.

The event is being held to “bring awareness about what the March of Dimes does,” and to help raise funds for the organization.

“We want this to be a day where people can come in and enjoy the facility and socialize, while giving them the opportunity to learn more about the March of Dimes, and helping this wonderful organization,” Kidville Montclair owner Jacqueline Howell-Marthone

A local Kidville mother put together a group to help with this year’s March of Dimes Walk and the movement has expanded accordingly.

“This organization is near and dear to my heart, as years ago, I had gone through a pregnancy loss myself due to pre-mature labor,” said Howell-Marthone. “I was very excited to work with them.”
