Local Bands Ready to Rock the Montclair 4th of July Picnic

Black Lace Blues and Jason Didner and the Jungle Gym Jam are all set to rock the stage at Montclair's Annual 4th of July Picnic.

Ready for free music, dancing and fun? Two bands are excited to get the town dancing and singing at Montclair’s 4th of July Picnic.

Local band Black Lace Blues crosses genres and generations by playing Blues, Rock and Reggae. They perform a mix of original songs and covers that crowd members enjoy. Black Lace Blues shows have been known to pack venues and form lines stretching around corners.

As a Kindie Rock group, Jason Didner and the Jungle Gym Jam is kid friendly and family oriented. Their music elicits freeze-dancing and cartwheels among the children and parents in the audience, as well as lots of laughs.

Raking in the accolades, Jason and his band were recently awarded the Parents’ Choice Approved seal and their current album “Everyone’s Invited!”  was named a CD Baby Editors’ Pick.

Come out to see them play on the 4th at Edgemont Park off of Valley Road. Music is set to begin at 1 p.m. and both bands will take turns playing 30 minute sets until 3 p.m.
