The township is likely to get even more snow early this week as Montclair officials work to clear existing snow from local streets.
Skies Tuesday are expected to be mostly cloudy with a high in the low thirties, but as the sun sets and temperatures drop into the twenties, the National Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent chance of snow before the Wednesday morning commute.
The snow is likely to continue on Wednesday, mainly before noon, with temperatures hovering in the high twenties.
Wednesday night is forecast to be clear with a low in the single digits, according to the NWS.
Montclair’s Department of Community Services said that they would be working Sunday evening to remove snow before the snow hit.
“Apologies for the noise,” township officials said. “Crews must be out while cars are off the roads and traffic is minimal.”
