Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parade Highlights Century-Old Tradition

Three-day feast a Montclair tradition started 100 years ago.

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel parade Sunday highlighted the three-day feast on Pine Street.

The 100-year-old statue was pulled through the neighborhood on a float Sunday afternoon. As the statue rolled through the streets, money was pinned to it to support the feast, now in its 100th year.
