Skaters Take to Ice for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Courtright family of Caldwell raises $3K with second annual Skate4CF.
More than 100 people laced up their ice skates for the second annual Skate4CF, a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation organized by the Courtright family of Caldwell.
The event, held Saturday at Clary Anderson Arena in Montclair, raised approximately $3,000 through admission costs, a silent auction, a bake sale and t-shirt sales.
The proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Mauli Ola Foundation, which teaches children with CF how to surf. (Salt air is a natural therapy for those afflicted with the disease.)
