WHY GO:  The annual Fish & Chips Dinner on Friday the 13th. It's a little known fact that fish & chips are good luck so it is the perfect time to come out for a great meal.

WHY GO:   LocaliTEA is a monthly tea hosted by Terra Tea and Fair Trade at the Isabel Rose Cafe, for newcomers to the Montclair area. New homeowners and renters and new business folks are invited to come meet people and learn about our town from people who live and work in the town.
COST:  $5.00

WHY GO:  Do you enjoy playing along with Jeopardy on TV? If so, then you may want to participate in a "wii Jeopardy Game" on a large projection screen. Three separate games will be played and each game will be comprised of three teams of two. Each game contains three rounds: Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy.

WHY GO:  Pianist Evan Mitchell will present a piano recital of “Four B’s: Music of Bach/Busoni, Beethoven, and the Liszt Sonata in B Minor”.  Mr. Mitchell will provide program notes exploring the musical and pianistic genius of these composers, as well as his personal relationship to the works performed.

afternoons. This is a drop-in group, no registration is required.

COST:  $29 which covers a 20min reading and a $4 voucher towards tea and crumpets

WHY GO: Join Dr. Charsie Sawyer from Calvin College and our Gospel Choir for a service of clapping, singing, and foot stomping!

WHY GO: Enjoy some of the area's best rising stars with Special Guests
from Comedy Central, HBO, Network TV, XM/Sirius radio, major comedy clubs, casinos, etc.

This weekend is the Cherry Blossom Festival in Branch Brook Park.  You can run, walk or ride! Any way you do it you will have fun!

WHAT:  ONE MILE FUN RUN/WALK
WHEN: Saturday, April 14 8am Registration; 10am Race
WHERE: Southern Division Branch Brook Park
WHY GO: Celebrate the arrival of spring and get fit with your family. Register for a fun one-mile run/walk through the Southern Division of Branch Brook Park and through the newest groves of cherry trees. All children will receive a commemorative t-shirt.

WHAT:  TROLLEY TOURS
WHEN: April 14 – April 21   Sunday – Friday, 12noon – 4pm, Saturday, 10am – 4pm
WHERE: Cherry Blossom Visitor’s Center, Extension
COST: $5 per person.
WHY GO: Reservations required.  Seating is limited. Call 973.268.3520 for reservations Hop on our trolley and enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of Essex County Branch Brook Park!

WHAT:  CHERRY BLOSSOM 10K RUN
USATF New Jersey Masters Women’s Championship
WHEN: Sunday, April 15 8am Registration; Race starts at 10am. Disabled Run starts at 10:10am. The health and wellness expo will open at 9am and remain open until the awards ceremony concludes.
WHERE: Cherry Blossom Visitor’s Center
COST: $18 Pre-Registrants; $16 USATF-NJ Member Pre-Registrants; $20 General.  Free to enter the Park and watch!
WHY GO: Race through the historic cherry tree groves in this USATF-sanctioned race! The first 500 registrants will receive a commemorative Cherry Blossom 10K Run long sleeved t-shirt. The top three finishers in each age category will receive a commemorative fleece jacket. A portion of the race proceeds benefit the Special Olympics. Same day registration begins at 8am. WHY GO:  Enjoy a family day in New Jersey’s pinkest park! A packed schedule of events includes Japanese cultural demonstrations, children's activities, live music, a crafter's marketplace,food, and more.
