Watch: Grape Expectations Shall Be 'The Best of Times'

Local residents featured in promotional video for Sept. 28 Montclair Public Library Foundation fundraiser.

Why are Montclair Mayor Robert Jackson and other township residents reciting Charles Dickens on TV 34?

The PSA above was created by Sharon Colucci of the local cable channel to promote the Montclair Public Library Foundation's "Grape Expectations" fundraiser planned for Saturday, Sept. 28.

The unique event celebrates both literature and food.

New York Times chief wine critic Eric Asimov will hold a master wine class with Montclair's Amanti Vino and Culinariane providing the wine and food pairings.

Top local chefs will prepare dishes inspired by Charles Dickens.

Proceeds from the evening will be used to fund a new author series, purchase e-readers and e-books and improve the Children's Room.

Tickets are available at www.MontclairPLF.org.
