Actress, Author Julianne Moore to Visit Montclair

"My Mom is a Foreigner But Not to Me" inspired by Moore's own foreign mom.

Academy-award nominated actress Julianne Moore is the latest celebrity author to make a book tour stop in Montclair.

Moore will read from and discuss her fourth children's book, My Mom is a Foreigner But Not to Me, at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Ave., on Friday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. The event is organized by Watchung Booksellers in Montclair.

Moore's latest work is inspired by her own foreign mom and is a tribute to Mammas, Mamans and Muttis everywhere. Her previous Freckleface Strawberry books were New York Times best sellers.

The actress and author is also an artist ambassador for Save the Children.

Moore will stop at elementary schools in Glen Ridge and West Orange during her Essex County visit.

The event is full. Get on the waiting list by calling Watchung Booksellers at 973-744-7177 or emailing info@watchungbooksellers.com.
