Shut up and Write

Now Weekly in Montclair -- Shut Up and Write! is a venue for writers and artists to work in the company of other writers (and artists) on a regular basis. Writing (and art), whether as a profession or as a hobby, is an isolating activity.  Our meetings help to get your writing done while develop a community of supportive, creative people. We will introduce each other and then write for one hour.  After, we'll get to know each other, socialize, and make friends.  No critiquing, exercises, lectures, ego, competition or feeling guilty.  We welcome both serious writers and those having trouble staying focused, but who are looking for companionship as they write.
