State Scare Haunted Attraction

All new this year, State Scare is the scariest indoor haunted attraction in New Jersey. Take a stroll down ‘Maim Street,’ a terrifying little thoroughfare built on the site of the old State
Processing Factory, recently razed due to its evil activities. On Maim Street, you’ll find a creepy barber shop, butcher, pub, hotel and 5&10. Come and find out why shoppers are disappearing, and Maim Street isn’t quite what it seems. “Not So Scary Sunday Matinee” for kids, Sundays in October, from 4-6 pm.

25-30-minute long interactive haunted attraction, with over 30 intricately designed rooms of fear guaranteed to startle anyone! Fully interactive with real live actors – in full make-up and one-of-a-kind masks. World-class special effects and makeup talent from movies and TV. One-of-a-kind, hand-made props and effects; and so many antiques you can fill an antique store.

Thousands people attend State Scare each year. Since opening  in 2010: 122 people cried, 106  people wet their pants, 31 people vomited and one passed out cold. (and
we don't count anyone 16 years or younger) Note: Data based only on info people share. Those too embarassed may not be counted. Sound better?)
