If You Can't Make The Official Film Fest...

Here are some chances to see great films—even if you don't have tickets to the Montclair Film Festival

 

If you don't have tickets to the Montclair Film Festival, running through May 6, there are plenty of other chances this month to see some great movies.

First, will have an evening of classic movies for kids like Laurel & Hardy, Abbott & Costello, and Charlie Chaplin shown on an old projecter. The event is on Friday, May 4 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and costs $15 per child. The studio is at 211 Glenridge Avenue in Montclair. Call 973-744-6484 for more information. In addition, The Montclair Public Library is hosting a Thriller Film Festival in May and will be showing classic thriller films at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays in its auditorium throughout the month of May.
