Montclair's Stephen Colbert Dethrones Jon Stewart

Drink enough Montclair water and eventually you can break an Emmy winning-streak.

Montclair's own Stephen Colbert, host and executive producer of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report", won the 2013 Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series Sunday night, ending "The Daily Show"'s decade-long dominance in that category.

"The Colbert Report" also took home the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series.

No doubt Colbert will be gloating on air this week over dethroning Jersey-native Stewart.

"The Colbert Report" airs on Comedy Central Monday through Thursday, at 11:30 p.m. EST.
