School of Rock Montclair Offers Last Blast Of Summer Heat

The school has scheduled two concerts this weekend.

School of Rock Montclair will present two themed concerts this weekend: a tribute to the music of Woodstock and a tribute to the album “Tragic Kingdom” by No Doubt  Each of these two-hour shows will feature students in School of Rock Montclair’s Performance Program, who have been rehearsing their repertoires since July.

“Even though our students—and even some of their parents!—weren’t born when Woodstock happened, they know the importance of the incredible music that was performed at the event,” says Phil Silverberg, general manager of School of Rock Montclair. “They also have a current connection with No Doubt’s landmark 1995 album ‘Tragic Kingdom’, which is still fresh and relevant today. Both shows will be packed with energy and fantastic performances.”
