Human Needs Food Pantry Collecting School Supplies

Organization also seeks volunteers once a week to make deliveries.

When you go back-to-school shopping, the Human Needs Food Pantry is asking families to remember those who cannot afford to buy new school supplies for their children.

The pantry, located at 9 Label St., is collecting lunch boxes, backpacks, notebooks, packages of pens and pencils, crayons and other items needed by its young clients.

Drop off is requested asap with the start of school quickly approaching.

The organization also seeks volunteers to assist once a week either Tuesday or Thursday mornings to deliver about 10 bags of food to the senior housing in Montclair.
