Mixed-Use Development Coming to Bloomfield Avenue

Sale of property closes, meaning new development featuring apartments, office and retail space and a boutique hotel moves forward.

Work on a new residential and retail mixed-use development at 638 Bloomfield Ave. is cleared to begin, following the sale of a parcel of land, formerly a car dealership owned by DCH Automotive Group. Commercial realty company Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale, which was just closed, according to National Real Estate Investor.

LCOR and The Pinnacle Companies are teaming up to develop the project which, once complete, reportedly will meet LEED green building standards: Phase I of the redevelopment will create 259 residential units, 571 parking spaces, 23,055 square feet of office space and 22,340 square feet of retail, the article said.
