O Soleil Says 'Adieu' to Montclair

South Fullerton Avenue business to close after 12 years in town.

O Soleil, a shop specializing in French and European imports, is getting ready to close its doors this month after a dozen years in Montclair.

The South Fullerton Avenue business has marked remaining items down 25 percent or more.

The shelves and racks were scarce Thursday afternoon as owner Isabelle Lesniak prepares to say "adieu" to her business.

Lesniak was born and raised in Lyon in Meribel, a small village in the French Alps. On a trip to the United States for her brother's wedding, she met her future husband. The couple raised two children in Montclair.

Every year, she and her business partner would close the shop to take a monthlong buying trip to August.
