The bus driver on this morning's 5:50 AM 66 did a great job getting us around traffic and to Port Authority in less than an hour. Commuters who live further along the DeCamp route, however, should be aware that there are far more bus commuters today than there are seats. Our bus was full before we hit Bloomfield Avenue, and Clever Commute has been reporting all morning that buses aren't even making it to Watching Plaza before running out of room even for standees. Here's hoping the Montclair-Boonton line isn't out for too much longer.

Thanks for the info! We were waiting beyond Watchung for 30 min this morning before deciding to give up for the day and try something else tomorrow. Thankfully we can telecommute...

Same here. The 7:15 66 was pretty much full when it got to Walnut and Park. It only had room for a couple more people of which I was one.

I, too, was on a packed-to-the-gills DeCamp 66 this morning, c. 6:30 a.m. And yes, it was "Standing Room Only" by the time I, and several others, boarded at Watchung. Thankfully, as noted above, DeCamp is cross-honoring NJT monthly rail passes (though I have heard differing accounts as to whether this is true on return trips).

Does not bode well for those of us in Upper Montclair - most of whom still have no power and cannot telecommute.

I took the 33 from Verona today, supposed to be there at 1035, came 45 minutes late and was standing only very early on.
