Fresh Fruits and Veggies Coming to Your Montclair Doorstep!

"Our mission at Just Farmed is to make it easy to eat local produce, so I'm excited to be offering deliveries to Montclair this season,” said Meredith Lehman, founder of Just Farmed.

From Westfield NJ, Lehman founded Just Farmed in 2013 to bring local produce to residents of her town and beyond.

Weekly from May through December, Just Farmed brings subscribers a new box packed with produce harvested just 24-48 hours earlier.

“There are so many amazing farms in NJ, NY and PA and I couldn't be happier to bring these heathy, fresh and delicious items to families in Montclair and the neighboring towns," said Lehman.

The boxes include a wide variety of fruits and vegetables -- from popular items like berries, melons, corn, tomatoes, and peppers to uncommon produce like rhubarb, sunchokes, garlic scapes and celeriac.

Boxes are $34 a week and there are no contractual fees or opt-out penalties.

New features for 2014 include an expanded delivery route, more delivery days and times and the ability for subscribers to manage their account online.

Additionally, Just Farmed supports local schools' SNAC programs and is interested in donating boxes to teacher lounges. Interested schools can reach out to Just Farmed.

In the future Meredith hopes, “to expand deliveries to even more communities throughout NJ and beyond in the coming years so families can enjoy delicious, healthy foods that are grown locally.”

The towns being serviced by Just Farmed are: Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Westfield, Cranford, Garwood, Summit, Mountainside, Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Millburn, Short Hills, Livingston, Basking Ridge, Montclair, Watchung, Warren, The Plainfield's, Springfield, Union, North Edison and Roselle Park. There is also a new 8-week program for weekly deliveries to LBI planned to start in July.
