Kings Unveils Redesigned Montclair Store

First 100 customers Friday will receive a free gift.

Kings Food Markets will hold a grand re-opening celebration for its Montclair store this weekend.

Starting Friday, the newly redesigned store at 650 Valley Road will feature nutritionist consultations, signature tastings and Cooking Studio demonstrations.  

Customers will find a brand new soup and olive bar, an expanded floral area as well as new and expanded food cases, including larger varieties of frozen seafood, bakery and meat options.

In addition, the first 100 guests on Friday, Oct. 18 will receive a free gift.

The event kicks off with Kings Food Markets’ signature pasta-ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Friday, which will include remarks from President and CEO Judy Spires, Montclair Mayor Robert Jackson and Store Manager Pete Gardner.

As part of its “Act Against Hunger” initiative, Kings will make monetary and food donations to local hunger relief agencies, including The Salvation Army of Montclair, the Human Needs Pantry and Toni’s Kitchen.

Cooking Studio demonstrations and special tastings will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the weekend.
