Montclair Businesses Top Readers' Choice Poll

November issue of Suburban Essex announces winners of magazine's annual survey.

The results are in for Suburban Essex Magazine's Best of Essex 2012 reader's choice poll—and many businesses in Montclair have come out on top in their categories.

Montclair alone had five businesses awarded a "Best of the Best" designation. The new designation goes to businesses in suburban Essex County that have received the most votes in their category for four consecutive years.

Montclair's Best of the Best winners include: Applegate Farm (ice cream or frozen yogurt), Osteria Giotto (Italian), Raymond's (brunch), Dai Kichi Japanese Restaurant (sushi) and Montclair Feed and Pet Supply (pet supply and services).

In addition, Montclair placed in 45 "best of" categories out of 64 total.

Visit the magazine's website for a full list of results.

Patch had its own reader's choice poll earlier this year. See results here.

apparently a great many people in the area have not had brunch at Indigo (yet); as Montclair discovers brunch at Indigo the poll will certainly change next go around
