Spencer Savings Bank Spreads Holiday Cheer to Local Organizations through its Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Elmwood Park, N.J. (December 31, 2013) – Spencer Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Elmwood Park, N.J., collected toys this holiday season, through its successful annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit St. Joseph’s Hospital, New Jersey Community Development Corporation, and Children’s Specialized Hospital. The toys were collected throughout the month of December in all 18 branch locations throughout Bergen, Essex, Passaic and Union counties, in addition to the bank’s corporate headquarters.

After collecting the toys, Spencer Savings Bank employees visited each local organization on Friday, December 20, 2013. The “Spencer Santa” and his helper elves visited St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey Community Development Corporation in Paterson, and the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, to hand out the toys and spread holiday cheer to the children.
