Township: Skating, Sleigh Riding Guidelines

There is currently no ice skating allowed at Edgemont Park as of Jan. 25.

Montclair Township' Recreation Department announced that Edgemont Pond will be open for ice skating when weather and ice conditions permit.

Flags will be posted at Edgemont Park to let the public know if the ice is safe to skate on. A red flag means the ice is unsafe to skate on. A green flag indicates skating is permitted.
