Midtown Direct Resumes Regular Service Monday

Three weeks after Hurricane Sandy, NJ Transit will restore weekday service to the Montclair-Boonton Line starting Monday. Midtown Direct service between Montclair State University and New York will operate on a regular schedule, which can be found here.

Service between Hackettstown and Hoboken on Monday will run on a modified schedule, which can be found here

Montclair Man Killed in Police Chase in Newark Last Week

A 32-year-old Upper Montclair man was killed in Newark Nov. 10 after he was struck by a fleeing car during a police chase, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police confirmed Thursday.

Leonid Meteor Shower 2012: Where to Watch in Montclair

Keep your eyes on the sky during the pre-dawn hours between Saturday and Tuesday, Nov. 20, because that's when the famous Leonid meteor shower is expected to peak. 

These meteors are fast -- about 40 miles per second -- and can leave trails of smoke, according to Astronomy.com. They will appear to radiate from the constellation Leo the Lion and can vary in color.
