Montclair Weatherman: A Warm, Rainy Wednesday

A flash flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for northeastern New Jersey.


Wednesday temperatures will almost reach 60 F, but don't forget to pack an umbrella. 

The Montclair Weatherman sees a high of 57 F for Wednesday, according to weather.com. The morning will start off cloudy with patches of fog.

Showers are expected to begin around noon and could turn into heavy rainfall later in the day. Winds could gust as high as 29 miles per hour.

A flash flood warning will be in effect for northeastern New Jersey starting at 6 p.m. and continuing late into the evening, according to the National Weather Service. Thunder storms may also develop.

Evening temperatures will dip down to 41 F but the rains will continue. Winds will remain a concern as gusts could jump to 48 miles per hour.

Overall rainfall is predicted to be between 1 and 3 inches. 

The sun will rise at 7:10 a.m. and set at 5:11 p.m. 

The moon will rise at 8:06 p.m. and set at 8:04 a.m. on Thursday. The waning gibbous moon will enter its last quarter phase on Feb. 3.
