“Essex Fells School volunteers knew we had to rally together and help the schools that were affected By Hurricane Sandy. We realized that many school fundraisers would have to be cancelled and/or postponed," Debra Tedesco, President, Essex Fells Foundation for Educational Excellence, stated in a release.

"It was clear to us that if we did not help the students of those impacted [Jersey shore] schools would not be able to enjoy the many activities funded by the various school organizations. These parents simply don’t have the time or resources to focus on fund-raising for the school. They are rebuilding their homes, lives and just trying to survive," Tedesco added.

Lunch reservations at the Essex Fells Country Club are $25 and must be made in advance.
