7th Annual Miles for Melanoma 5K Run/Walk

Last year, 400 runners and walkers participated in the 6th annual Miles for Melanoma New Jersey Run/Walk. Join us for the 2013 event on September 22!

WHO: You! Join us individually or create a team when you register.

WHAT: A 5K run or 1 mile walk that will allow participants to help raise funds to support research, education and advocacy for melanoma.

WHERE: Ginty Field, Morris Township

WHEN: Sunday, September 22, 2013 Check-in and Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Run begins at 9 a.m. and walk will begin at 9:10 a.m.

WHY: Every hour of every day someone dies from melanoma. Recent research shows that overall cancer rates are decreasing, except for melanoma diagnoses! One-in-50 people will be diagnosed with melanoma during their lifetime. The Miles for Melanoma New Jersey 5K Run/Walk will raise funds to fuel additional research for new and better treatment options, and support the MRF as the organization advocates for the melanoma community and educate people about the prevention and diagnosis of the disease.
