This workshop will combine traditional printmaking techniques with ceramic tile making. Students will be taught how to transfer photographic or hand drawn images onto clay surfaces using a Xerox lithography method, how to make ceramic ink using mason stains and thickened linseed oil, and then how to transfer images using ink and gum arabic. Please bring high contrast images or black and white drawings with you to class (images void of graytones work best). All other supplies are provided.
