"ALL THAT LIES BETWEEN US"

Documentary film on the life and work of the New Jersey bred poet extraordinaire Maria Mazziotti Gillan to be shown, with the poet present to read and discuss some of her poetry.  Her poetry touches and reveals the human spirit and experience deeply and with startling authenticity.

Mrs Gillan is the Founder and Executive Director of the Poetry Center of New Jersey, as well as the Director of Creative Writing Program and Professor of Poetry at SUNY-Binghamton.  She is also the editor of the Paterson Literary Review and has published multiple volumes of poetry, latest being The Silence of an Empty House and Ancestors' Song.

Following the presentation light refreshments will be served and there will be the opportunity to meet this remarkable woman.

This event is sponsored by the Montclair Chapter of UNICO, an Italian-American Service organization that provided academic scholarships.  Tickets to this event are $15, or $10 for students and Seniors.
