Amanti Vino Hosts "Olympic Games" (of Wine + Beer)

As
a fun and timely expression of the Olympic fever that's gripping the nation,
Sharon Sevrens and the team at Amanti Vino have put together a lighthearted way
for customers to show their competitive spirit ... via their
favorite wines and beers!

"In honor of Winter Olympics in Sochi, we thought
it would be a kick to create a 'tournament' complete with brackets that pit
wines and beers from 16 countries against each other,"
 enthuses
Sharon, sommelier & proprietor of the Church Street boutique wine, craft
beer and spirits shop. "At the end, we'll have a crowd-chosen
champion!"

The
most-purchased wine or beer for each pairing is the winner and will move into
the next round. For each bottle a customer buys, their name will be entered
into a drawing for a prize.  One name will be drawn for
each match-up (16 winners in total over 4 rounds).  Prizes up
for grabs?  Bottle-reusable tote bags, corkscrews, and a free seat in an
upcoming class!

Wines and beers are from countries represented in the games and all are
crowd-pleasers under $23.00. Matches were formed based on customer
preferences by country; all picks are top sellers from each country.

The
"competition"  starts February 8th and runs through February
23rd. Participants include:
