Creative Expressions 9/11 Donation Workshop: In Memory of 12 Years Past

Compassion, Peace, Love
Creating works of art to express compassion, peace, and love. 50% of proceeds will be donated to the Peter C. Alderman Foundation*
http://www.petercaldermanfoundation.org

Art Materials Included.
This workshop is for adults and young adults.
Must have 10 people to run this workshop, bring a friend!

This workshop will be led by a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist who will provide a nurturing environment, art materials, and an art directive focusing on giving and receiving compassion, peace, and love. The intention of this workshop is to bring these qualities into the world, and to contemplate it for oneself. What do these words and qualities symbolize? How can we cultivate these energies in order to benefit ourselves, our families, our communities, and the world at large? No art experience is necessary…just your natural, creative selves.

*My dear friend Peter was murdered on 9/11 while attending a meeting at Windows on the World in the World Trade Center.  There was nothing Peter’s family could do to help Peter, so they decided to help those that survive acts of terrorism but are still unable to live their lives due to traumatic depression and PTSD. They created the Peter C. Alderman Foundation, which trains indigenous health care professionals and establishes clinics to treat the emotional wounds of victims of terrorism in post-conflict countries around the world.
